I'll be performing.

Thanks for meeting with me afterwards and telling me about yourselves and about how my music has touched your lives. I can't tell you how deeply I appreciate your laughter, your tears, your handshakes and your hugs.

Right now, I am preparing for the next album. Believe me it won't take another ten years!!!

I am also composing the score for a new musical based on the books "The Sweet Potato Queens". If you've never read any of Jill Conner Brownes' books, get ready for laughing out loud and, quite possibly, recognizing a lot of yourself in her books. I know I did. I'll keep you posted on the progress of the production.

Hope you're enjoying the first hints of springtime. Do you see any buds blooming? Take time to feel the sun break through the wint'ry clouds. Take time to hear birds singing where you only heard gusty winds. Take time to notice anything that's lovely and life-affirming.

Pay attention to the miracles -- they're everywhere!
